SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Showroom, bilingual)

Under the manager’s responsibility, the sales representative will be directly involved in the sales activities of the various product lines sold at MCK Temiskaming Shores. The candidate must be self-reliant and must demonstrate great planning abilities. The representative must be passionate about achieving results and exceeding expectations.

As the selected candidate will be working in close collaboration with different departments, he must demonstrate a great ability to work as a team and collaborates with the different departments, when required, in order to fulfill our commitment to our clients: “Serving you well is our priority!’’

  • To sell equipment and machinery;
  • To be responsible for proactively promoting the products and services offered by MCK Temiskaming Shores;
  • To participate in business development activities (congresses, conferences, promotional events, open house days, etc.);
  • To manage all of his sales activities (presentations, etc.);
  • To develop and maintain good business relationships;
  • To prepare and submit preliminary and final quotations;
  • To actively monitor quotations to ensure the greatest possible potential for conversion;
  • To update the sales database and prepare forecasts, while keeping abreast of key projects and accounts;
  • To carry out a technological market watch to identify business opportunities for MCK Temiskaming Shores;
  • To inform the manager of all activities, opportunities, problems and project schedules;
  • To continuously prospect and rigorously track each of the actions undertaken;
  • To provide a demonstration to clients, as required;
  • To participate in training activities (internal, external, virtual) and information sessions offered by the company and its suppliers;
  • To read all the documentation of the products sold by the company;
  • Shall have knowledge of the different range of equipment offered;
  • To conduct after-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Sales-related training;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sector;
  • Bilingualism (French and English mandatory).
  • Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm;
  • Saturday 8 am to 12 pm (on rotation).

Under the responsibility of the manager, the agricultural sales representative is mandated to sale and promote our product line distributed by both our divisions; Mega Centre Kubota (Quebec) and MCK Temiskaming Shores (Ontario). An experienced team will be dedicated to support the candidate throughout his mandate.

  • To establish and maintain excellent relationships with our new and current customers in order to increase sales and exceed customers expectations;
  • To gain and maintain market shares on target products on an assigned territory;
  • To promote value added sales techniques;
  • To develop and support sales strategies;
  • To pay special attention to safety;
  • To participate in training activities (internal, external, virtual) and to information sessions offered by the company and their suppliers;
  • All other related tasks.
  • Excellent understanding of the agricultural sector;
  • Strong skills in prospection and market development;
  • Results-oriented;
  • Organized, structured, independent;
  • Excellent ability to connect with people, dynamic;
  • Excellent initiative and ability to work autonomously;
  • Ability to act quickly and to be truly committed to the customers;
  • Willingness to follow procedures and to learn;

  • College diploma in marketing / sales and/or administration (an asset);
  • Recognize college training or work experience in the agricultural sector (an asset);
  • Minimum of 5 years in the agricultural sales sector;
  • Bilingualism (French and English);
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Monday to Friday;
  • To be available on Saturdays.
